Feb. 6th.

How does a person respond to life when you are confronted with cowardice?
It is an extremely sad and eye opening experience when you are face to face with a persons inability to look life head on and cope with the most painful aspects of ones own past.

It has been an incredible 2 ½ weeks and period of time that will color the way that I look at the world and my future forever.

Be bold, be brave, look life straight on and have no fear. It may hurt like hell but letting that pain overwhelm and engulf you is the way to conquer that pain and not let that pain conquer or control you.

Tao te Ching – Chapter 2

When people see some things as beautiful,
other things become ugly.
When people see some things as good,
other things become bad.

Being and non-being create each other.
Difficult and easy support each other.
Long and short define each other.
High and low depend on each other.
Before and after follow each other.

Therefore the Master
acts without doing anything
and teaches without saying anything.
Things arise and she lets them come;
things disappear and she lets them go.
She has but doesn’t possess,
acts but does not expect.
When her work is done, she forgets it.
That is why it lasts forever.
